Time to explain
Every consultation ends with you knowing your diagnosis, the options available, and what each one involves — in Hindi or English, whichever is easier.
Home About Us
Dev Ortho & Eye Care Multispeciality Hospital is a healthcare centre in Kakadeo, Kanpur, focused on providing advanced eye surgery and orthopedic care under one roof.
Dev Eye Care and Dev Orthopaedic Centre share the same building in M-Block, Kakadeo.
Our hospital
Families in Kanpur often travel to one place for an eye check-up and somewhere else entirely for a fracture or knee pain. Dev Ortho & Eye Care brings both together — an eye department led by a phaco and medical retina surgeon, and an orthopedic centre for bone, joint and back complaints.
That means one address, one set of records, and one team that knows your history — which matters especially for older patients and for conditions like diabetes that affect the eyes and joints alike.
Eye, bone and joint care — all under one roof.
How we work
Care that begins with listening, and a plan you actually understand before anything is scheduled.
Every consultation ends with you knowing your diagnosis, the options available, and what each one involves — in Hindi or English, whichever is easier.
Surgery is advised when it is genuinely indicated. Where medicines, therapy or simple observation are the better route, we say so.
Follow-up visits are planned as part of treatment, not left to chance — particularly after surgery and for long-term conditions.

Facilities
A complete equipment and diagnostic list will be published once confirmed by the hospital.
What to expect
You meet the specialist, describe the problem, and get a full clinical examination.
Vision testing or relevant investigations are carried out to confirm what is going on.
Options are explained — medical management, a procedure, or surgery — and the plan is agreed with you.
Review visits are scheduled to check healing, adjust medication and answer new questions.
Dev Opticals
After a vision test, most patients need a new prescription. Dev Opticals sits inside the hospital, so frames and lenses can be chosen the same day — with the prescription passed directly from the consultation room to the optical counter.
Order your spectacles right here — immediately after your eye examination.
Brand availability and pricing to be confirmed by the hospital.
Bring your current spectacles and any previous prescription. If you have diabetes, please mention it at the front desk — a retina check may be advised alongside the vision test.
Call the hospital during OPD hours or send a WhatsApp message — the front desk will help you pick a suitable time.
